Capitalizing On A Fresh Start

Happy Monday!

Last week’s #MakeItHappen marked a year since we launched our newsletter series, and as exciting as it’s been to look back at how far we’ve come, we’re even more thrilled for what’s in store this year.

Although January is the start of the calendar year, August is really the start of the business year for students, schools, and YTeach. With plans for the upcoming school year being released and that first day of classes quickly approaching, here’s three things you can do to make the most of your time left before the hassle starts again.

  1. Be Curious – We all know that with the start of the school year, the busy schedules pick up once again. Appreciate the time you have left to be curious and develop interests that you might not have time for during the school year.
  2. Do Your Summer Reading – Have you not started your summer reading? Don’t worry most of us are in the same boat! But don’t let yourself be a nervous wreck that first day of English class and just read the book instead of an online summary. You’ll be a lot more confident and one step ahead of your classmates!
  3. Have Fun and Do Nothing! – Do whatever you want to do and don’t worry so much about feeling productive cause school’s gonna take care of that for you pretty soon. This doesn’t mean be lazy or reckless, though. Make sure you’re staying healthy and making the right decisions.

For this week’s #MakeItHappen, try just one of the things we mentioned above to make the most out of the rest of your summer. Let us know how it goes and email us at info@yteach.com or share your story and tag us on social.

Go make it happen,
Stefano & the YTeach Team
