1.What to do if I cannot log in?

Make sure that you are on the correct website yteach.com not www.yteach.co.uk
Be sure that you are logging in on the correct website and type in login and password correctly, using the correct case (uppercase or lowercase letters).

2. Will the downloaded resources work on every computer?/ Will the resources work with my old computer? What are the system requirements?

yTeach downloaded resources should work perfectly if your computer meets the technical requirements available here.

3. What if I want to buy yTeach resources as an individual user not as school?

If you are an individual teacher there’s an option just for you – yTeach individual licence. Contact us for more information.

4. How does the licencing work? What licence is available?

• School licence – this is the option for any education facility that wants to provide every teacher and every student with yTeach resources. It is possible to administer up to 100 teachers, all of whom have permanent access to purchased resources, yTeach authoring tools and insightful reporting and tracking of their students’ progress.
yTeach Credit system offers an easy and intuitive way to access the resources. One Credit costs 1 EUR + VAT and can be used by any teacher in your school to unlock access to individual resources. You can buy Credits in batches of 100 upwards.

5. Will I be warned about my licence expiration?

Yes, 14 days before your licence expiration you will be notified via e-mail. We offer attractive deals for yTeach sers who decise to prolong licence.

6. How do I know the resources are compatible with my school’s curriculum?

All yTeach resources are mapped with IB (international baccalaureate) curriculum. IB is a world-wide educational organisation, which aims at developing the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Its programme is enjoyed by almost a million students in 141 countries. Additionally, each yTeach resource screen can be freely added or removed from a sequence according to teacher’s preference.

7. Is it possible to use the resources from a flash drive?

Yes, you just need to go into My Toolbox, choose Download and pick your desired destination. You can use the resources offline on any device that meets these technical requirements.

8. Why didn’t I get the confirmation e-mail?

Be sure to check your Spam inbox and if this doesn’t help, try to register once again. If the system fails to register you once more, contact us via helpdesk, we will be happy to assist you.

9. What happens with my credits when they expire? Will I be able to retrieve them?

When your credits expire they become inactive. You will have them back on your disposal the moment you purchase fresh amount of credits (min. 100).

10. What is a school code? Why do I have to belong to a school?

School code is a unique number that enables all teachers in your school to access purchased resources within a particular school. It protects your resources from being used or modified by any unwanted user. If you plan to buy resources as an individual user, you would still need to register school but it will consist of only one user.

11. Why can’t my student access home assignments or open the attachments?

This may occur if your students’ computers don’t meet yTeach technical requirements. To find them click here.
Should your students have problems with accessing attachments from home assignments, be sure to check if they uploaded properly and did not exceed your available yTeach disk space. If this isn’t the case, please contact us via helpdesk and we will be happy to help you.

12. What if I forgot my password?

13. How to pay for the resources?

You can pay with credit/debit card or via International Bank Transfer. For details click here.

14. What if I unlocked the wrong package?

Don’t worry! Contact us via helpdesk and we will resolve the problem as soon as we can.

15. Do you have any discounts for people buying more than one package?

Yes. If you buy 2-4 packages you will get 5% discount. For 5 or more packages within one purchase we will grant you 10% discount.

16. Is there a limit to the number of teachers in one school?

The default number of user accounts in a school is 100. But should your school need more accounts, contact us via helpdesk and we will cater to your needs.

17. Can I buy the resources for my child?

Yes, you can purchase the resources as an individual user. Contact us for more information.
